BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN THE USA and LINKS

Where do you Think is the Best Place to Live?

According to Money Magazine’s annual survey, Carmel, Indiana is the best place to live in the USA. I lived in Carmel in the 1990’s and I must respectfully disagree. The cost of living was certainly lower than our prior in San Diego, but that’s where the advantage ended for us. It was flat and dry and my allergies went into overdrive. A day rarely passed without a bloody nose for me. It was way to conservative and racially segregated for my taste. Where were the people of color? If you want a flat, white, less expensive area, well maybe it’s the place for you. It wasn’t a really great fit for us. It didn’t help that when we moved, we lost money on the sale of our home.

This home is cheaper in Carmel, IN than San Diego, CA
