After this post, visit American Public Media Marketplace to read my featured guest article entitled, What to do With Money Over a Lifetime Stop back here tomorrow! I’m hosting the FESTIVAL OF FRUGALITY.
BRAINSTORMING defined; “Process for generating creative ideas and solutions through intensive and freewheeling group discussion. Every participant is encouraged to think aloud and suggest as many ideas as possible, no matter seemingly how outlandish or bizarre. Analysis, discussion, or criticism of the aired ideas is allowed only when the brainstorming session is over and evaluation session begins.” Business dictionary
This time tested strategy to broaden your options works with family, friends, and even yourself. Give it a try and see what emerges.
A comment on a recent article, Personal Finance Tips for New College Grads, by MD at Studenomics inspired this post with the comment, “Find cheap ways to party! Once you finish college you just feel like getting out and having a good time. Don’t let this ruin your financial future.”
Fun and entertainment are really important. In fact, take a break from the thinking and toiling of work; refresh the mind and increase productivity.
When trying to save money, stick to low cost recreation and entertainment.
