Kevin @ Invest-Thanks for noticing. Yes, I am very "action oriented." I've done the "avoiding thing" and taking responsibilty for making life and wealth work out is much better.
Jennifer @ Little House- Yea, me neither; I'm not big on shopping when I'm unhappy. Fortunately, this is one issue I have avoided. Thank you for the comments. Regards, Barb

These are some great tips. I can't really relate to going shopping when feeling down, but that's just me. However, I fully agree that there are better ways to resolve a feeling of anxiety than to go shopping.

Thanks for mentioning my blog as well!

Nice photo! What I like about your posts is that you're always action-oriented. You cut right to the chase and give us steps to follow that can help us out.

Sometimes, people don't make the causal connection between why do act or behave a certain way. Analyzing one own's behavior is key to learning how to change it.

@Cody, Thank you for the comment, when you think about, by dealing with stress in a healthy way, many self imposed problems go away!
@Shawn, It's all about practicing every day the behaviors that keep us strong and healthy. Of course, it's easier said than done. Thanks for the visit! Best regards, Barb

...so very true. It is all about behavior. This is a double-edge sword. Not only does this place the responsibility squarely on our own shoulders but empowers us to make a difference. If we can control the person in the mirror, we can fix nearly all of our problems! What a scary concept!

Thanks for the link, Shawn
